Jonathan Friedman, CEO
Jonathan was born and raised in State College. After graduating from Johns Hopkins University (B.A. 1999) and University of Illinois College of Law (J.D. 2002), Jonathan practiced corporate litigation law in Chicago, Illinois for more than a decade. In 2012, he and his family moved back to State College. He worked in a variety of roles across the portfolio including operating enterprise businesses and acting as Director of Real Estate Development on multiple projects. In 2021, Jonathan was named the CEO of the newly formed Comet Properties, LLC. His main focus in the organization is asset management, strategic planning, and community engagement.

Susan is a Centre County native. She graduated from State College Area High School and received a BS in Accounting from Penn State. After college she worked for a local bank, HRI, Inc., and the Internal Revenue Service. As a licensed CPA, Susan ran a bookkeeping and tax service from her home while raising her children. She began property management accounting in 2004 with a local company and has been the CFO of Comet Properties LLC since its founding in 2021.

Vanessa Wion, VP of Operations
Vanessa brings more than a decade of experience in real estate to her role as VP of Operations. She attended Mount Aloysius College, where she studied business, and has since built a career focused on operational excellence and strong tenant relationships. Vanessa enjoys the ever-changing nature of her work, no two days are ever the same, and values the connections she forms with tenants and team members alike.

Holly Graff grew up in Oklahoma and earned degrees in History and Psychology from the University of Oklahoma, followed by a Master’s degree in Social Work. She began her career working with children and families in a clinical setting, where she developed a deep appreciation for helping people grow and thrive. Over time, her interest expanded to the broader community level, recognizing how strong connections and the right spaces can shape people’s lives. After taking time to raise her family, Holly transitioned into commercial real estate and now serves as the Office Manager at Comet Properties. In this role, she combines her background in human services with her passion for community development—helping people and businesses find the right fit while contributing to a vibrant, successful local community.
